Cell IDx

High-throughput multiplex biomarker tissue profiling

UltraPlex technology allows multiplex chromogenic and fluorescent staining of tissues and can be incorporated into advanced staining workflows.

Our Technology

The new Leica Biosystems offering is optimal for research histopathology labs that seek to benefit from multiplexing immunohistochemistry (IHC) or IF for low-plex research applications. The Cell IDx portfolio by Leica Biosystems is a high throughput, low-plex solution that enables the custom detection of multiple primary antibodies from any species on the BOND RX research stainer. Unlike high-plex exploratory experiments, the unique Tag technology allows for targeted experiments to generate spatial information in days rather than weeks.

Fluorescent & Chromogenic Multiplex Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Staining Technology

UltraPlex fluorescent multiplex immunohistochemistry (IHC) and chromogenic multiplex immunohistochemistry comprise a paradigm-shifting technology that addresses the needs of precision medicine for multiplex immunohistochemistry (IHC) detection of proteins on tissues.

Cell IDx has developed a proprietary, Tag-based technology to address the need for unrestricted, simple, rapid, and simultaneous detection of multiple biomarkers in any immunoassay. The underpinnings of the technology comprise novel Tag design and their detection with high affinity anti-Tag antibodies. Initially, we have directed our UltraPlex technology to the development of fluorescent multiplex immunohistochemistry (IHC) and chromogenic multiplex immunohistochemistry (IHC) tissue-based assays. Methods for chromogenic and fluorescent detection of multiple markers have long been an unmet need. Our UltraPlex technology presents solutions to both assays overcoming many limitations.

UltraTag Multiplex Labeling Kits

UltraTag labeling kits allow you to transform your great immunohistochemistry (IHC) antibodies into fluorescent or chromogenic multiplex immunohistochemistry (IHC) staining panels. Choose the number of kits you require (1 per antibody), and then rapidly transform your immunohistochemistry (IHC) antibodies into four-color fluorescent multiplex, or three-color chromogenic multiplex immunohistochemistry panels. UltraTag kits efficiently label 50ug @ 1.0mg/mL of high-affinity, purified antibody in ~ 2 hours.
